Software System Requirements

The Total Yijing program requires a PC with the following specification (or better) to operate:

• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000 (sp3) or Windows XP. (Please note that the new Windows Vista Operating system is not yet supported)
• A minimum of 1.4GHz CPU
• A minimum RAM of 250Mb
• A minimum disk space of 65Mb to install.

Note: the more readings which are stored in the program, the more disk space will be required.

 

Mac Users 

The Total Yijing program has been written to run under Windows. However a number of our users have informed us that they are happily running the Total Yijing program on Mac computers. Specifically, they are running the Total Yijing program under OS X 10.4.9 operating system with Virtual PC 6 or 7, using a Windows XT Pro system.

 

Please be advised that we are unable to offer support for this type of installation.

 

Download Instructions

The program files are 70Mb in size and will take 10 to 20 minutes to download via broadband depending on your connection speed. Downloading via a dialup 56k modem will take considerably longer and it is recommended that a download manager be used. The download instructions are as follows:

• Click on the appropriate download button;
• A dialog now opens and asks you if you want to run or save the file. Click on Save button;
• In a second window, choose a folder to save the file. Then click OK;
• The download begins. Please be patient and wait until the end of the process. If the download is interrupted, the downloaded file is corrupted and becomes unusable.

Installation Instructions

The installation instructions are as follows:

• On completion of the download, browse to the folder where the downloaded program has been saved;
• Extract the files from the Zip file into a temporary folder;
• Double click on the TotalYijing Setup.exe file;
• Then follow the on screen instructions.

PRO Edition

Click on the 'Download' button to download the Total Yijing PRO Edition program.
